Spencer, thanks for the tip. The Apple ear buds fit awkwardly in my ear as well. I have had mine Sonic ones for about 4 or 5 months. They are fine for now, but I will keep an eye out. Too bad, I love them.

Everybody: Read Spencer's comment above before buying these.

Yeah, I used to have these same earbuds because I really hated Apples original earbuds (too damn big for my ears). But I was pretty pissed when, after only about nine months of moderate use, the rubber casing both around the wires and where the wires connect to the earbuds themselves had deteriorated so much that they no longer worked. Let's just say I was super pissed.

I then bought Apple's new in-ear buds (another 40 damn dollars), and even the smallest attachment on those was too big.

My solution?

I put the old ear attachments from the Sony set onto the Apple set and, voila!, the perfect pair of earbuds. Durable plastic casing, comfortably small ear attachments, and no weird "around the neck" setup with the wires.

Once your pair starts to deteriorate (and it will), I recommend doing what I did.
