Free Tution at Stanford!

Stanford announced yesterday that it will be dropping all tuition costs for students whose parents make less than $100,000 per year and dropping room and board costs for students whose parents make less than $60,000 per year. Additional aid will also go towards families who make more than $100,000 per year.

The announcement was made by President John Hennessy due to outside pressure for universities to reduce tuition costs and a 22% increase in endowment last year to $17.1 billion. About one month ago Harvard made a similar decision.
