How to Scam Someone on eBay and Tips for the Rest of Us

Hello eBay Nigerians reading this post. The following are some guidelines on how to properly scam someone on eBay.

Nigerians are pretty much the only reason why I use Amazon instead of eBay, but if you must scam someone on eBay, then at least do it properly and follow these guidelines:

Make sure you do not use your real name! Seriously, what kind of an idiot are you if you are using your real name to try to scam people.

Do not be stupid.

Yeah, that’s about all you need to properly scam people. You do not even need to know to write in English!

Now, if you are trying to avoid being scammed on eBay, follow these rules:

    1. Never, I said Never do business on eBay using Western Union, even eBay will tell you this is not secure. If you don’t take my word for it go to western unions website, they even have a page dedicated to showing how scammers use there service.
    2. Read Feedback. Yep, everybody looks at the pretty little number next to a seller or buyers name but if you want to see what is really going on you need to actually click on that number and read the good and the bad feedback. If you see something that seems wrong or out of place beware. Click to continue reading…

Safari Battle: Lions vs. Crocodiles vs. Buffalo

The following video shows some great animal cooperation. I thought meerkats were cool, but even being an Ecology major, I had never seen anything like this.

The video depicts a real safari battle. First lions attack, then crocodiles, then buffalo. Who will win? Place your bets and then watch the video.

[Thanks Joe!]

Brazilian Funeral Prank

This one here is just for fun. It is a Brazilian prank shown on a popular Sunday TV show. In the prank we have a poor unsuspecting person forced to put make-up on a supposedly dead body while the manager goes to the bank. Of course, you know what is going to happen.

Hopefully this can inspire you to come up with your own pranks to play on your roommates, friends, and even professors. It will add a little spark to your college life. Also, let me know if you want to see more pranks like this by posting a comment.

Free Rice for People too Poor to Buy Their Own Rice

A new game by the UN World Food Program lets you improve your vocabulary and give food to the hungry. The Free Rice game gives you a word, such as neglect, and four other words, such as argue, corroborate, hesitate, and disregard. You must pick the word that is a synonym to the first word. In the case of neglect it would be disregard.

See what I did there? I have demonstrated that I have above a second grade education and just donated 20 grains of rice to some poor people! For each word you get right, the WFP will donate 20 grains of rice. The words do change difficulty as you get them right or wrong however, so at least that should keep you from getting bored. There is a max of 60 levels–wow!

How does the WFP do this? Why don’t they just give the rice without having us play this game? Well the website has sponsors and by playing the game and seeing the ads on the website you are giving money to the WFP. With the money they are making from you playing the game, they donate it to the poor people of the world.

As an added bit of fun you can hear each word spoken out loud by a funky computer voice.

Now go spend your non-College Being online time on something productive.

[Click here to play the game]
